Inkthinker and Mike...drew these.

This guitar chick caught my eye for the quality of inks.
Really fun to colour, and I let myself go when it came to restraint...happy with results.
Moreso than with Rocket Girl by Mike...I don't know how I messed it up so bad, but I'm moderately pleased with it anyway. I used Mike's colours from his DA account.

Hulk, Hulk, Hulk, and....Hulk.

So Mike is now testing my patience...I think.
Hulk with the reddish hues is my fave here, and I don't know why.
Altogether the project was fun to do, and I hope I captured the spirit of what he's trying to convey.

Captain is back!

Normally, cap doesn't run through fire, but he needs the excercise since he's now 68 years old.
From craptastic thumbnail sketch to what is here...I know there's no A on his helmet, and it looks weird without it, but I don't care.

I used a smooth area shading/lighting effect on the left side of the picture, and more detailed work on the right to show contrast in styles. I'm rather pleased with the overall result,
A few details that I don't like are on the feet, but once again; I was experimenting with a style I'm still new at.
I prefer gradient shading, so adjusting to sharp contrasts is causing me to grind my teeth at times.
I'm going to try something else with it, and change the black lines to green and dark purple, to match the colours of his skin and clothes. I have to thin and sharpen the inks to do that though.

WIP and a gradient to bug Mike...

So here's a nice pic of Ironman bitchslapping Hulk that I coloured.
One is a wip using a new tech I discovered, and the other is a basic gradient version because I had to.

I think I've decided to give up pencilling for a while, since I obviously enjoy colouring much more.
Here's another collaboration pencilled by Mike, coloured by myself.
Just experimenting with shades and lighting more than anything...I know the brown pants and the entire colour-scheme sucks but oh well.
